ACHIEVEMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Test Scores

Though Indiana charter schools receive less funding than their local counterparts, their students are producing similar if not more impressive results than students attending non-charter public schools.

Closures

Charter school closures are evidence of accountability in action. As of February 2009, only two Indiana charters have been closed, as a result of operational deficiencies.
